OF RUSK COUNTY, TEXAS
You are hereby notified that a special meeting of the Rusk County Commissioners
Court will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 10:00 o’clock a.m. in the County
Courtroom, First Floor, Rusk County Courthouse, at which time the following
subjects will be discussed, considered, passed or adopted, to-wit;
(1) Approve budget amendments and/or transfers
(2) Approve March 5, 2010 Rusk County payroll
(3) Discuss for approval request from Mary Kay Thomas for approval of urgent need
resolution for communities impacted by Hurricane Ike due to failure
to function
(4) Discuss for approval request from Kishla Salazar to help re-establish the SANE
program for Rusk County
(5) Discuss for approval Interlocal Agreement between Rusk County, Tatum ISD and
the City of Tatum for improvements to Sterling Price and Jefferson
Streets to
accommodate the traffic to and from the District’s property
(6) Accept for approval Certificate of Completion for Joyce Lewis-Kugle for the
required 20 hours of continuing education for 2009 as prescribed in
Section
51.605 of the Texas Government Code from the County and District
Clerks’
Association of Texas and 10 hours of educational training at the 38
th Annual
County and District Clerks’ Continuing Education Seminar January
11-14, 2010
(7) Approve resolution for the renewal of guidelines and criteria governing Tax
Abatement Agreements by the County of Rusk for a two-year term
(8) Consider for approval the following pipeline/utility requests:
a. Sabine Valley Pipeline, LLC to place 8" steel natural gas
pipeline under/across
C.R. 2210 and 2211
b. Cabot Oil & Gas to place 4" water line under/across C.R. 374
c. Riley C. Lawrence to place 1" water line along/within the right
of way of C.R.
